So many decisions to be made.
Raining a lot unusually in November here. Many friends of mine are suffering from exams. and some of them got sick. I also used to get sick when it was exam period. I still remember Chris took me about for $10 steak to feed me while I was sick and studying for the final exams.
Taking exams is pretty much like a decision-making game. We have to decide the best or the correct answer for each question. I remember failing the very last paper, and I was not able to graduate and apply for PR, either. It is quite a long stroy , but God really brought me through the situation and answered my prayers. It is quite ashame of myself to share this, but I still thank God for his mercy on me back then.
The subject was called “Artificial Intelligence in Programming” or something like that. How could I program something intelligent artificially when I’m not that naturally intelligent! I hope my children won’t read this oneday.
When I’m standing Before so many decisions, I used to make decisions based on my own situations, or emotions. and many times, those decisions were quite regretful. Knowing that the ideal decision making process would be “What Would Jesus Do?, I often can’t see the whole picture and rush into the final decision. God has been teaching me to be patient in many situations, yet I’m still quite impatient. and My shepherd has been trying to test my patience level like this ”Hey John, I got something to tell you…hmmm but I think I will tell you tonight or next week.” Boy you should know that you are shortening my life span.
Like many friends of mine going through exams, I also face many questions. It seems like standing at the crossroad without clear signs, still have to decide which way to go. Not every road seems to be the best way to go. Yet I believe that as long as I choose to put my trust in God, He will lead me, and bring me through. and that’s how God has led me this far. Even though there was up and down, yet he has been truly faithful to me.
A few more days to go, Pray that all my friends will testify How God helps them through this tiring exam period. In fact, they will miss those times one day like I do now
Well, exam never ends, Life is an exam itself. ;) Wish you all the best. We all can enjoy playing PS3 together after exams!
p.s Say Hi to the baby Ng. Her parents names are Ambrose and Geraldine. we’re going to check out that new hot chick tomorrow! Korean Uncle John is going to bring some kimchi for you!
